Service Mechanics
- Find a mechanic you like before your car breaks down. Use a shop a
few times for "little stuff" before you bring your car in for major repairs.
- Ask for old parts back, if your mechanic replaces some.
- If you feel like your mechanic isn't being honest with you, get a
second opinion!
- Test drive your car before paying the bill to make sure everything is
a-ok.
- Pay your mechanic with a credit card. Many credit cards offer
consumer protection for fraud, just in case.
